The Association

Mayflower Boat Owners Association is a non-profit group, based in Plymouth (UK), that aims to provide affordable moorings for the Community. 

The Moorings

The Association has 68 moorings adjacent to The Mount Batten Water Sports Centre mostly for craft under 30ft in length but there are some moorings suitable for craft up to 34ft

Dinghy Racks

There are a total of 57 tender racks available to members. 38 are at 2 external sites at MBC, and 19 inside a store at MBC.

Use of Moorings

Moorings are available, for members only, from the beginning of April until the end of November each season.

To become a member of the Association there is a one-off joining fee of £250, plus seasonal mooring fees.

Mooring fees are very competitive and a quote will be given on application, depending on length of vessel.


Cattewater Harbour Commissioners undertake the work of maintaining the moorings.
